Boris - I have used this product before and I agree with threadkiller it is a great product, but its not as good as a physical lean.

For those who do not know B&G create a chemical cleaining solution that is "injected" into the air intake and helps break down carbon deposits.
You are wrong is not injected. You talking about diff BG product. For this product we have to take off the intake manifold and apply the product then use special brush with our drill. After that we use a pump to suck out all the carbon. I hope this make more sense.

Thanks

Yes the spray in solution works great for none direct fuel injection cars. But it would never work with the 335i I wish it did it would make the job so much easier. I have a solution we all should run E85

Thanks

all that does is give theory of direct vs indirect injection.

If thats what you call "clean", then we both have different definitions of "clean"....... no pictures show in that presentation a "clean" intake port.

I have before/after of clean. i know its 100% done.

but hey, you get what you pay for i suppose.
I really don't understand what you talking about damage the engine ? We remove the INTAKE MANIFOLD AND THE ENGINE IS SET TO TDC MAKE SURE ALL THE VALVES ARE CLOSED AND THEN WE PHYSICALLY CLEAN THE VALVE TILL THE ARE CLEAN 100 % AND DRY AND MOTOR WILL NOT BE HYDRO LOCKED. BG IS ONLY USED TO BRAKE APART THE CARB BUILD UP. I BELIEVE BOTH TREATMENTS ARE GOOD AND WILL PROVIDE SAME RESULTS

THANKS

The BG stuff that uses the special tool kit where you remove the intake and allow the stuff to soak works well...but i dont like it as well as walnut blasting. As for those questioning who I am-im a full level 1 BMW master tech...any other questions about me, what i do, and how i do it regarding valve cleanings please PM me

one more time:
fogging the intake while running with BG has the possibility of pooling and hydrolocking.

pulling the intake and pouring stuff in there and swabbing around with a brush, i assure you doesnt get it as clean as walnut blasting.

both may work, but both have different results. I have done both and know.

and lower your voice. playing with caps locks does nothing for the conversation. its not like im going to read it any clearer.

Ya'll do what you wanna do. there are many ways to skin a cat.
The caps was error i didn't realize they where on. I am not screaming at you don't you see my smiley face. I never said BG is better way to do it i really know the results are the same. I have been doing this for long time.

Next car i do i will take some good after and before picture maybe we can compare

Thanks

Wow.. What do i do? I just don't want any problem down the road with the given info.
Any thought on that? I had both my down pipe replace and 3 injectors / plug? The first time was when, BMW did the cleaning.

Im not sure really how this would cause that sort of damage. From the diagrams I have seen its cleanint the back of the valves with the valves shut.

Perhaps someone else can shed light, but I would have gone with it being BMW either misdiagnosing or that there was underlying/seperate issues.

This is now going to go for Saturday so if anyone wants to confirm further let me know. We still need a compressor to be confirmed I think... Anyone?

The only issues associated or caused by valve cleaning is when it's improperly done...

Usually the only downpipes or cats I've replaced on n54's is associated with injectors leaking or jamming wide open and pumpIng cats full of raw fuel which will kill them quickly..

Yep this is on for Saturday. Further details to follow. Can people PM me their numbers and I will call you up with a valid time.

Also if anyone has a compressor that would be great! We have one but it is quite small so I would like see if we can have a bigger one (or perhaps two smaller ones) so we can get through it faster- thanks!
