Intake Carbon clean -group deal or DIY- ATL

For those who do not know B&G create a chemical cleaining solution that is "injected" into the air intake and helps break down carbon deposits.

You are wrong is not injected.You talking about diff BG product. For this product we have to take off the intake manifold and apply the product then use special brush with our drill. After that we use a pump to suck out all the carbon. I hope this make more sense.

Yes the spray in solution works great for none direct fuel injection cars.But it would never work with the 335i

I wish it did it would make the job so much easier. I have a solution we all should run E85

all that does is give theory of direct vs indirect injection.

I have before/after of clean. i know its 100% done.

I really don't understand what you talking about damage the engine ? We remove the INTAKE MANIFOLD AND THE ENGINE IS SET TO TDC MAKE SURE ALL THE VALVES ARE CLOSED AND THEN WE PHYSICALLY CLEAN THE VALVE TILL THE ARE CLEAN 100 % AND DRY AND MOTOR WILL NOT BE HYDRO LOCKED. BG IS ONLY USED TO BRAKE APART THE CARB BUILD UP. I BELIEVE BOTH TREATMENTS ARE GOOD AND WILL PROVIDE SAME RESULTS

Also-i should also mention that i will also be bringing my full running isid setup loaded with istap 2.45 and ista d 2.29 along with my power supply so anyone who wants anything programming that will be available as well as full use of diag software...

The caps was error i didn't realize they where on. I am not screaming at you don't you see my smiley face. I never said BG is better way to do it i really know the results are the same. I have been doing this for long time.

Any thought on that? I had both my down pipe replace and 3 injectors / plug? The first time was when, BMW did the cleaning.

Im not sure really how this would cause that sort of damage. From the diagrams I have seen its cleanint the back of the valves with the valves shut.

Perhaps someone else can shed light, but I would have gone with it being BMW either misdiagnosing or that there was underlying/seperate issues.

This is now going to go for Saturday so if anyone wants to confirm further let me know. We still need a compressor to be confirmed I think... Anyone?

Usually the only downpipes or cats I've replaced on n54's is associated with injectors leaking or jamming wide open and pumpIng cats full of raw fuel which will kill them quickly..
