Thumbs up 2 sets of (2) Reverse LED from (High Performance Bulbs)

Hey guys, didn't see a marketplace on the local "Nortwest" chapter... but I am sure that someone will steer me right if I missed it!

Anyways, I have 2 sets of the LED reverse lights from HPB. I was playing around with the idea of trying them as brake lights as they are both 921's. However, while waiting for them I tried my current LED reverse (same ones - HPB) and they are not as strong as the 18W brake bulbs.

However, I love them for the backup application where they will stay for sure, I have a 2007 E92 and have replaced most of my bulbs to LED and looking to re-code/code out with Strictly BMW in town when the snow melts!!!

Rather than sending them back - figure someone locally could use them...

EA set $25, I have 2 sets.

Are these things much brighter than stock reverse lights?

Do I need to have my car re-coded for this to not show any error? I also have an E92 like you.

I would thing yes - the only light mod LED in the rear that I managed to do without issues on my 2006 build was the LED License plate light from: https://www.eurokoncepts.com/Lighting_c_25.html (They worked out great)

Now since you are in the area, I will really soon re-code/code out my bulbs with Strictly BMW in Bellevue and will let you know as soon as that is done how it worked. My hope is that I am set them with LED front, side, rear, backup lights... possible HID fogs in the future but they need to match the stock ones perfect...haven't found one yet. Also, with the idea that you install what you want and then calibrate the "read" as required i should be good.
