Front License Plate delete?

Is there any such thing for the e90? Anything to cover up those horrible holes from the dealer without bumper plugs or going to the body shop? Just curious what you guys have done!

Thought about all the potential fixes....but in the end, I just decided to get a brand new oem Mtech bumper

If you feel confident enough you can put bondo on the hole and sand it down and paint it with touch up paint....I'm going to do this soon because my front plate was stolen along with the bracket....a**holes just ripped it off and now there's a huge extrusion.

I wished they just left those damn front bumpers alone! I realize it's the law (at least here in Ca), but still stinks.

I would've gotten the Mtech anyways, BUT I convinced myself that the license plate was the reason

This is a good cheap alternative to Bumper Plug or replacing your bumper. Just paint it to the color of your car. It fits in perfectly to the drilled hole and is relatively flat. You can find it at your local auto part store.

I was having some other stuff done at the time (mostly repaint for scratches on the bottom of the front bumper cover, small dent removal), and it was an extra 40 bucks to have the holes properly filled. Probably more if that's all you're doing, but might be worth looking into getting some quotes if you don't want plugs.

^yeah i think thats ultimately what I'm going to end up doing, why cover it up...its not worth it, might as well get it properly fixed. If it's around $100 bucks its worth it to me.

I filled mine in on the M and it came out so good you can'y even tell it was ever drilled,

have a look at this thread with a few pics

http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=332090

(there was also a few other mods I did to my M in that thread too)

But filling it in is a possibility and am thinking of doing it to my E90 too

Cover that section of the bumper with clear vinyl and then spray touchup paint through from the back.. dunno if it'd work, just a thought..
