HELP: problem with m3 steering wheel install
So I followed the DIY on the m3 steering wheel swap with the ZSP steering wheel. Everything was going good until I took off the steering wheel. When the steering wheel came off so did a the plastic cylinder containing film-like coiled wires. It came out all at once and the coil of wires came all undone. There was a lot of grease on it. I tried to put it back together and obviously did not do it correctly. My airbag light is on, DSC got turned off, none of the buttons on the steering wheel work, and my brake light is on in yellow. How bad am I screwed? I feel like the dealer is going to take me out on the town on this one..

well as an update:
dealer said its some part of the steering column and its gonna run me about a grand. I don't think I should ever touch this car myself again...
