Can you please share your coding contact in HSV? I'm needing to re-code my aux/usb connector and was thinking of ordering all software to try DIY, but if there's someone locally that can help at a "less than dealer ripoff" price I might just take it to them.

Thanks so much!!!

Thanks!

I actually just got my car back from Euro Tech - they replaced my steering assembly. I've been taking my BMWs there since I moved here - good, honest people for sure.

I talked to him about coding, but his prices weren't much cheaper than Century.

Looks like I'll be ordering software and cables (via eBay) and doing the simple stuff myself. If I get good at it, I'll be sure to offer my services to others.

Bumping this back up. I too need some coding, not looking to spend a ridiculous amount on it though.

I've got a working cable and the software on my laptop. Haven't done too much coding though. Added digital speedometer, removed speed corrector, and did the corner light mod. You can borrow the cable if you want.

I'm located in the Harvest area.

Are you able to change the Gong sound? i believe the 2009 and up have the special Bmw sound instead of ding ding one.

I don't remember reading anything on changing the gong sound so I'm not sure. That sounds like it would take more than changing nicht aktiv to aktiv which is generally what all my changes have required.

It seems most people choose to remove the seat belt warning chime when starting the car. Haven't done that one yet either but it's fairly simple.
