% is different by brand of film you choose to use. some 5% film is as dark as 20%. even at same 20% some film block more sunlights than others. so you need to look into that as well..

tint
I'm running 35% sides and rear, 50% on the windshield with a black interior. It's subtle enough that it doesn't attract too much attention from the cops and really isn't very noticeable until my car is parked next to another car without a tinted windshield. It definitely keeps the heat out.

50% is going to be too light. turst me. if you want nice enough of tint, then settle with 35%, little more privacy and darker look = 20%, very dark(almost limo look) = 5%. 50% on windshiled is really nice also...

I like the 20%, my friends brother has an 08 Audi A4 and he has 20%
my brother has an 08 Audi A4 as well but he has 5%, which is limo tint personally i like it but because you get the sense of privacy but the back window i wouldnt get 5%- the third pic is from inside, not usually orange... hah here are some pictures of his A4, yes i know he needs some rims : ) brothers: 08 Audi A4 - IW - Black Leather - 6MT - 5% Tints - No Mods yet : ( _______________ |

as I said, 35% and 20$ are debatable depends on which beand of film you use so you really need to shop around a little before you put one on. even at same 20%, some blocks more heats/sunlights and some shop has 35% as dark as 20%, vice versa... usually 5% is limo and 50% is too light for most...

Besides looks, does it keep the cabin cool? I know that black absorbs heat but is there tint that protects from heat?
