Doesn't help the OP, but the BEST day to go to the DMW is the day before Xmas. Went there to reg my E90 this past 12/24 around 10am and got to the counter without waiting.

Otherwise, do whatever you can to avoid it. I always reg online. I'm a AAA member and go there too but there is often a line there as well (albeit shorter) and there are many things they can't do but you won't know what they can't do until you go there 1st. So, going to AAA is also sometimes a waste of time.

I couldn't do it online because when your registration is due they mail you a slip in the mail and you need to enter that code along with ur vin number online, since I never got anything in the mail I never got the code

thanks for the heads up man I would hop on that deal if I needed it but i should be able to pass with no problem if i just swap my intake out so i think i'll be ok, i still have my cats and everything (assuming i can get the check engine light off lol)

If hypothetically I were ever to do anything like that, I'd take a wild guess that someone might charge 250 (300 if the car's failed a smog already)
