Just wondering what you would charge?

I'm in SF but have always wondered what people charge for this kind of work.

Garage List
Shops are between 250-400. Go to Speed Element in SJ, they are the cheapest I've found.

Question

Hello guys, I am thinking about modifying my factory downpipes instead of buying new ones. What are the advantages/disadvantages?
( I have a 3" full stainless steel exhaust installed)

Thank You

I think he is talking about gutting he's down pipes . Take out the catalytic converter to make is a straight pipe.
Joe335 you can do that but if you ever consider going back to stock you will need to buy stock down pipes so save your self some time and just buy some raceland down pipes they are 2 1/2 " straight pipes , used will only cost you about $130- $150 and you keep your stock ones just incase you go back to stock.

As for the rest of the members out there I'm located in the Inland empire and I can install downpipes in like 1 1/2 to 2hrs after the car is cool enough to be worked on. I've help a few members already with n54 and n55 downpipes

Yes Maximo that's right, i am thinking of cutting it and replacing the catalytic with a straight pipe or so. The reason why i am considering doing this is because my mechanist has a catalytic converter from a previous 335, so before getting rid of it he asked me if i would use it.
I will get back to you with a reply as soon as i do it.

Thank You.
