Window Tints
Alright guys.. New to the forum.
Just got myself a 320d e92 and took it for window tinting and they showed me a problem with matrix dots, the matrix dots make the tint look like its not been fitted correctly. So i didn't get them done in the end just wondering if anyone has a solution to get around this as 100% think the car would look better with the windows tinted. Any ideas or solution to this would be appreciated. Cheers |

Just got mine done about 2 weeks ago, 20% all windows. As for the dot matrix, it's not that noticeable. Make sure to remove the 3rd brake light so they can tint that area. No tools needed for removal/re-install.

Some tint places are better then others at tinting over dot matrix or as someone else mentioned put a black strip over it.
I used to run a roof spoiler that would hide most of it but I no longer run the roof spoiler and mine is pretty good (and I'm picky). |

When I got mine installed they used dotrix to cover the dot matrix. It’s basically a black vinyl.
