The VS8s comes in many different finishes directly from MORR. I'm not sure what you said is valid.

Maybe I was confused... I thought it was factory defect thats why they send in the wheels to get powdercoated... Maybe it's bcuz they want a different finish?

they are all powder coated. The finish on mine is excellent. I havent heard of any complaints yet.
