E91 pre-LCI wheel set up w/ F80 513M 18"
Just to share the set up that I installed F80 M4 18" forged wheel on E91
Style 513M : F 18"x9J ET29 , R18"x10J ET40 Tire : RE003 F 235/40/18 , R 265/35/18 ( a little stretched ) Spacer : it's no rubbing without any spacer , But I had 10mm for rear and now it's 15mm on rear for more stance looking , all no rubbing. 20mm for rear not test yet but looks OK and suggest no more than 20mm the suspension is M-sport from stock. and the spacer set from Burgertuning , excellect surface flatnnes ! FYI thank you. Front Rear w/ 15mm space |

Looks great
Thanks for sharing! I've been looking at (a slightly less expensive version of) those wheels for my E92. Knowing that size doesn't rub in the rear with the extra weight of the hatch makes me more comfortable running those sizes with the extra weight of my fat a$$ in my coupe. I've been reading every wheel size post on here for over a month and most just contradict themselves and end up confusing. This has answered so many questions - thanks again |

I know this is an old thread and the original poster may have moved on, but am trying to get feedback as to whether the 10X18 ET:40 Style 513 would work in the rear of an LCU e91 if I stuck with 265/35/18 but were fatter Michelin's?
Or would I be better off running four 9X18 ET:29 with stock 18 tires sizes and some spacers. Trying to get away with either no modifications to car, or at a minimum maybe a slight fender roll. Suspension is stock for now but haven't ruled out coil-overs. |

Yup, fits like a glove with zero rubbing even in a fully loaded car (5 adults and luggage). It's hands down the best setup for an E90 imo. Perfect, flush fitment without spacers with meaty tires... PLUS they're lightweight, forged, OEM, and reasonably priced. There's truly zero downside to this setup whatsoever.
