I've been searching for 2 hours and still have no idea what to get. Most I've found are for older (pre 2006) 3-Series.

Using the "Aux" port under the arm rest really sucks because I can't use the steering wheel to change tracks of course, the sound is not as good as a direct connection.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

My car has the "Professional" radio without DSP or iDrive or Sat Raido. It has the CD-Changer which I already removed, and a black amp in the trunk. It does not have any USB connectors so I can't use the BMW iPod interface cable.

I did notice the CD Charger connector does have fiber connection if that helps determine what adapter I need.

Any info or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, my car does not have an UBS port. I'm currently using the 3.5mm AUX port inside the arm rest. The sound is OK at best and I can not use the track up/down function on my steering wheel which is what I want to mainly do.

Thanks but I don't think that applies to me since I have a 2007 model with professional radio. I do believe that I can get the iPod Interface Kit [65110439425 ] (the one without the USB) with the direct iPod cable. It's about $320 shipped... just wanted to see if anyone here did a similar retrofit and see if it works.

Use the AUX port at the back of the audio car dvd. The sound is good.
