E90 328i 3-Stage Intake

Hello Fam,

I have researched all day (maybe i suck at it) and i have not been able to find an answer...i came across this three stage intake manifold upgrade for the 328i BUT all the ones i find are either done in a 325i or a E92 none on a E90 328i (i drive a 2011 328i sedan) and wanted to know if is possible and worth it. If is possible do yall recommend buying new witch is around 900 or so or can i buy a use manifold? if so what model and year should i be looking for?

Just converted my 2011 E90, review near the end of the current AA thread. Worth every penny but I have a 6MT so others would have to value it with an automatic.

First, go to this link and make sure you have the n52, not an n51. N51's already have the 3 stage intake. I had to use this link to make sure I had the n52 as well.

2011, pretty sure you have n51 with 3stage already

FWIW, my 2011 328i sedan has an N52N engine. Build date in October 2011.

You can definitely use a used manifold, just make sure its either refurbished or in good shape.
To really make use of the 3 stage intake manifold you would also need the necessary hardware like both DISA valves and their respective mounting screws plus a tune to allow the ECU to optimize your car for the increased air flow. Turner sells the entire kit with a new OR used intake manifold, it's expensive but they know what they're doing.

I have 3 stage on my 328xi sedan.. it works. mine was from an N51 328

So like i see now searching on websites i can take 3IM from 530i, X5, Z4, 330, X3 and 128i. Does not has to be from 330 : )

Only if it has the N51 engine.
