Going to Seattle Downtown
Hey guys
I am from Vancouver, BC Canada and I will head down to Seattle downtown with my gf tomorrow I was wondering what are some sights that are a must see or cool to check out? Any good place for dinner with good view near the water? Thanks.

Pike place market, space needle are the two biggest landmarks. Then there is the olympic scultpure park (which is so so). Gas works park and alki beach are nice places to take in the sights.
Places to eat with a view include any restaurant on the waterfront. Anthoneys and the crab pot are very popular places to eat. Drowning on how much you want to spend you could always eat at the needle too. You can't beat the 360 degree rotating view of Seattle. Hope that helps. |

Crab pot is a great tourist attraction on the Pier.
Only thing I couldn't get past was the butter/grease all over the floor I head down to Seattle all the time, and find that Chinatown has some good latenight food There's also Cheesecake Factory by the Convention center. |

Satly's on Alki, the view can only be beaten by the Space Needle, but food is better. Restaurant is on top of the water overlooking downtown Seattle. Sometimes you can even see some marine life wondering around, like sealions. Go in the late morning for brunch, best one in town. Is not a cheap place but well worth it to take the gf.
