17" wheels to something bigger
is there anything special I need to do to my e92 if I decide to get bigger wheels?

Thanks. I am really going to search for what I like. I assume that changing the tires will do nothing to the warranty? I will keep my 17" all seasons for winter and get something bigger and more performance oriented for summer.

Well if you do get new tires and rims, you have to remember to buy new TPMS or just swap them from you stock 17"s. But seeing as how you need to switch wheels back and forth depending on the season, you might as well buy a new set of TPMS to save you the hassle of always having to swap it.
Other than that, theres not much else. You'll probably notice your car will look like a 4x4 so you might ending up wanting a drop. |

Thanks for the info. If I drop the car, will that impact swapping out different size tires and rims as the seasons change?

Yes depending on the offset/size wheels and tires. For examples, you may have to roll or trim the rear fender, use spacers, or mod your inner fender covers. Suggest you do some research before purchased. Good luck

I will definitely do my research. At this point I was just wondering what is or isn't possible.

stick with the same diameter as OE and you shouldn't have an issues (assuming of course you select a wheel with an appropriate offset and width so as to avoid rubbing issues) |
