Jb4 w/ vishnu meth kit
From what I've read it appears that any meth kit can be installed to run with any tune...but I wondered how the Vishnu meth kit works with the jb4. I currently run he jb4 and looking into buying a Vishnu meth kit from a personal seller...any insight will be helpful. Will I run into any problems?

Just buy the Aquamist HFS-3 PWM for exactly the same money as the Vishnu kit. You will get a stand-alone adjustable and progressive Aquamist controller, gauge and failsafe that can be used with any tune including JB4. Plus you get plug-and-play cable harnesses for install. The Vishnu kit is an Aquamist kit minus the most important parts: controller and gauge.

In theory any controller/flow sensor will work but those Labonte units are complete pieces of junk. Steer clear. Just get a basic DO kit and a Snow flow sensor if you want a cheap option right now. The CM "X" kits are also very nice and on my site. Alternatively you can wait for BMS' new quick mount kit .

If you just want the kit to work with JB4 you don't need the deep "integration". Just turn on the meth kit via an electrical switch and select a high power JB4 map...that's all.

The purposes of integration via a tune is to have a failsafe that determines which map to run and in case of meth failure it reverts back to tolerable boost levels. Without the failsafe and integration you run the risk of catastrophic failure. The meth boost switch that comes with a basic kit will get meth to spray, again, the purpose of integration is to proactively change maps when there is flow to high boost, and when there is low flow to revert back to low boost. I hope this clears things up for you. |

I already have the procede....
So if I have the Vishnu Chargepipe I can incorporate any HFS-3 the same exact way just need the vishnu mount? I would still be able to use the Gauge and controller |

So I have officially got the jb4 kit to work with the procede meth setup. The FSB integrated with the procede (aquamist) setup running dual 1mm nozzles.
Just to get things straight. I switched from the procede to the jb4 g5 ISO. And kept my Vishnu meth kit. Some things to still be addressed. And maybe Mike or Terry can chime in? Before the switch my meth would last forever, but now I'm using meth like its going out of style. Is there some adjustments that may differ from the standard setup on your site? Like meth flow scaling? Any help would be great. Thanks. |
