Do lease rates drop after January?

I ordered my car and it should be here around Mid to late December. I could probably get my dealer to hold onto it until the End of the Dec. when January's rates come out and do the deal then. After Christmas is usually the slow time of year for car sales, so I'm wondering if anybody knows if historically lease rates drop around Dec./Jan.
