Hello Everyone,

I was hoping someone could help me out with an Pre cat O2 sensor issue im having. Dealership says my PreCat O2 sensors are damaged and need to be replaced. Quoting me $1200 for the job. I read that that Bosche O2 sensors are ~$130 online. So I am guessing the $1000 is for Labor?! Should I just go ahead and do this job myself? I heard the job is a pain.

Dealer also switched out my battery and bill is now $700, so they will be adding $1200+ to the bill with those o2s.

Also, would these be the right sensors? at http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/O2_Sensor/ES2580506/

You can do it yourself. You have to take off your down pipes. 1st time doing it took me 5-6 hours. Now I can do it in about 2 hours on a lift.

So... My cluster is all frozen. Driving normally and all of a sudden the whole cluster just went black. Rpm stuck and speed is stuck at 30mph. Temperature and gas gauge is stuck also. OBD port isn't working, horn is working, lights on radio and climate control is on. Going to check fuses tomorrow and/or disconnect battery to reset. Strange thing..

While you have the DP's out to swap the sensors, you might as well purchase a set of catless downpipes and install them both in one go. You can then run a higher map (assuming you are tuned) and also enjoy the new found intoxicating noises coming out of your exhaust.
