Ebrake Boot vs Shifter Boot Leather
Hey all,
Theres something that has been bugging me for some time and I wanted to see what the community thinks. I have the black Dakota leather interior in my '11 335. The leather on the shifter seems to be good quality real leather and matches the rest of the car well. The ebrake boot, however, seems to be imitation "pleather". Shouldn't these two match? Did I get hosed at the factory or the dealership? Let me know if this is normal or something I should bring up to the dealer on my next visit. Thanks, Last edited by jwzimm; 12-23-2012 at 10:33 PM.. |

Bump. I was just told by the dealer this is normal. It doesn't seem right though. Can someone please take a look at theirs and let me know what they have?

Thanks. I would appreciate a photo if you can.
I just looked on realoem.com and according to this: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...84&hg=34&fg=30 There is not an option for dakota leather vs leatherette so it looks like they are the same. I guess that means what I have is what everyone has. It is just striking how different they look. |
