I heard the after market d1s bulbs can cause damage to the OEM ballast. Has anyone with after market bulbs ran into this problem? The MTEC D1S 8000K is on its way to my house. I'm kind of worry because the OEM ballast is $160 each.

cheap ebay ones are know to do this. MTEC and Philips(aftermarket version) seem to be fine.
