E92 doors will not unlock sometimes (from inside)

I have a 2011 e92 335i 30K miles. I am having this strange intermittent issue with the driver and passenger side door lock problem.

After stopping the car, turning off the engine, when I pull the door handle of the driver side door from inside, sometimes, it won't unlock the door. When this happens, every time I pull on the handle, the door lock will come up, and as soon as I let the handle go, the lock goes back down again... as if they are locked with each other.

To be noted that the door unlocks fine when I press the central unlock button on the dash plus the passenger would unlock fine.

Brought this issue to DLR once but they said they can't reproduce the problem... go figure (it's gotten worse from a yr ago)

Anyone had this issue before or suggested fix? Do you know if this is covered under the extended CPO?

Thanks in advance.

Might be the lock actuator. Does it go up and down like crazy when you press unlock or lock?

This just started happening to me a few weeks ago! Did you already get it fixed?

Its a fuckin annoying prob and they'll try to deny it cuz when u get there it probably wont do it. So I told them it's a FIRE Hazard problem and if I got into an accident and there was fire while the door does not open......wheeeeeeeeeeee! My 2 year old burns to death (yea kinda crossed the line and I dont even got a kid, or my hot stripper gf burns to death) Good luck to your brand and North America BMW on CNN tonight!

That was the kryponite to shut them up.
