Tell me what you think about this deal

Just got a 2 quotes for a 335i Sedan.
Alpine white, Auto, Navi, Black Leatherette, Aluminum trim, Ipod adapter

$41,000 including dest, MACO, Training. (invoice)
Another dealer just beat it offering at $40,500 ($500 below invoice)

0.9% @ 60 months
Invoice looks to be just about $41k

with the incentive they've got for the trannys, imagine true invoice being $39,800, if the invoice is $41,000.....so even at $41,315, they're still making around $500 bucks..... Are you leasing??? if so keep an eye on the MF.....otherwise at $40,315 WITH floormats, pull the trigger......Just a word of advice.....if there's a 200 dollar difference between a convenient, local, and highly rated dealership (service department). Go with that.

IE: since you're in Pasadena if like Pacific BMW is giving you 40,500 and Mckenna BMW is doing 40,315....I'd go with Pacific to take advantage of the locality, service, and the fact that where you get the car from will give you bmw loaners......=)

Btw is the deal for an order or a car on the lot???

I'd hold out for a bit and lock down a 335i with the sport package...it's just about a required feature

In case you are leasing, you'll need these numbers......

2008 BMW 335i Sedan 15K/year
24 Month – Residual 66% of MSRP – .00190 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 56% of MSRP – .00190 Base Rate

2008 BMW 335i Sedan 12k/year
24 Month – Residual 68% of MSRP – .00190 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 58% of MSRP – .00190 Base Rate

2008 BMW 335i Sedan 10k/year
24 Month – Residual 69% of MSRP – .00190 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 59% of MSRP – .00190 Base Rate

and you'll get that rate with a security deposit if you weren't a previous BMW customer.

I will be purchasing and why is the Sport package required? I will be changing the suspension as well as the wheels anyway. That leaves speed limiter, seats and steering wheel?

This will be an ordered car.

I was told that the automatic tranny rebate is for cars that were sold before June 30th.

I just bought a new 2008 335i Sedan, manual trans, ZPP, ZSP, alum trim, ipod adpt, heated seats, and park dist for $41,620. +130 for the damn floor mats. Invoice was ~$42,588, sticker with pre-June pricing was $45,650. The car was built in March and had been sitting at the dealer for at least 2-3 months. OTD was $45,606. I probably could have worked a bit better deal, but I was happy in the end as the car had every option I wanted and was silver, my 2nd color choice (wanted graphite). With 0.9% it was a no brainer!
