trading 328i for 335M questions
I have a 2009 328i XDrive e90 LCI sedan with 50k miles paint is perfect everything is immaculate. Now i'm looking at a 2010 335 e92 coupe M sport performance everything with 90k miles and i was going to trade my e90 for this e92 and my question is, do you think this would be a good trade ? This car has some defects like the roof wrap is peeling. paint isn't as perfect as mine all in all mines 100% in better condition extremely well maintained and the guy said the 335 may have a leak because the rps jump and fuck around sometimes which i think it may have a turbo leak, all in all I love my car but I crave more power and love the M Sport, just wondering if i'm just being stupid.

I wouldn't make that trade. The 328 has half the mileage, and everything is immaculate. Now, the 335 has some defects, almost double the mileage, and may have a leak. Why get yourself into a vehicle that may become a money pit? OP, I had the first model year 2007 335i. Yes, I do miss the power. However, I don't miss the service department. I'm satisfied my my 328i sport. Good luck OP.

I store my 335i every Canadian winter (=7 months per year). I suggest not driving it. Buy a Battery Tender, or similar trickle charger/battery maintainer and attach it through the booster leads under the hood (not directly at the battery). If you use a car cover, best to keep indoors, or out of the wind, as grit can get under the cover and scratch the paint, if in a windy area. Inflate the tires to 40-45 psi. Fresh oil may help, though I don't do that (change in the Spring when I take out of storage). Mothballs under the hood and inside, if you are in an area with mice (they can chew wire insulation). Very importantly, fill the gas tank and use Stabil, or similar at the dilution recommended on the bottle. HTH.
