iPod Installation 2008 335i coupe.

Hello fellow enthusiasts,

I'd like to get my iPod installed in my car so that I can:

Control it from my car radio/steering wheel and view the artist information.

If i could get the usb option installed as well that'd be great but if not, that's alright as well. I went to my local dealer (Vista BMW) and asked them about it and they wanted something like $800 to install the cable! Does anyone know of any other options that are available to me? Like someone they know that can do it or someone that went to another dealer and got a way better deal?

If you don't know any other members who are handy mechanics, I'd try calling a couple other dealerships within an hours drive or so.
