Cold weather (37°) warning disable code.

Does anyone know how to disable the cold weather warning light?

I already know that it is cold outside, and I don't need more reminders, I find this a little bit annoying. Plus I have winter tires on the car.

Thanks!

just in case - it warns because of possibility of black ice. if you think your tires will help with that you're wrong.

but to your question - no idea how to disable it.

Ok thanks for the input,

I believe winter tires definitely help for winter conditions, but the best is always slow down with harsh conditions.

I believe there is a way you can do it. And ill be getting it done soon. From what i remember you can turn the whole message off or just the beep.

If people really need a light on your cluster to tell you that its cold outside and to adjust your driving for winter then that's just quite sad and you shouldn't be driving.

I've never tested it but try CC_TEMPERATURWARNUNG in your KOMBI module. If set to aktiv try nicht_aktiv.

^ Yeah this should be able tobe coded off, it would be in the Kombi Module. I also read where someone changed the warning chime, to a lower temperatures like 30*F, to make it more useful and not just go off all the time and make you basically ignore it..
