yeah, it fricken sucks - I work in mining/engineering & we just dont have any projects in the pipeline - desperately applying for jobs to save me from selling this.

i got a great deal on this car, took me ages to find the right car/seller.. - if i need to sell it I will basically only be asking for my $$ back & pass on a great deal for someone else.

the jack pad cost me $30 from BMS, so maybe just order one from them.

well I'm totally Gutted

i had a guy give me a deposit over a week ago, he got it inspected - all good.

i havent driven the car for over a week, he just picked the car up (after the eft went thru) - 1/2 an hour later he calls me saying the car got a check engine light/reduced power error.

I have never seen an error anything like that, but now he thinks I've stiched him up

feel so bad for him, hopefully we will find out what the code is tomorrow

Did u sell it with the jb4 fitted? Did you remove any parts prior to the sale?

sold it with the jb4 fitted & all other parts as well (dci & charge pipe)

the only thing I did was change it from map5 (where it had been for about a month), to map 1.

one thing ive justr thought of is that tonight when he drove off, is its the first time the car has been driven with these mods & its extremely humid.

maybe the humidity is stressing the spark plugs out (which i never changed) & causing miss fires?????

Well if the sparks are nearly done.. There ya go..

he probably full throttled it with worn plugs+cold engine then yes it's possible the Engine light would pop up .
And
Did u have auto code delete? (I do, and the engine light goes away after 2 seconds if I misfire)

Well after you check codes tomorrow if it's 29d9 code it's misfiring,
Probz plugs or coils..

i hope for his sake its the plugs - talk about bad luck for him.
