There's probably nothing to compare.

Not sure what you mean by this, but yes there is a difference between the 2, otherwise we would not have invested the time and effort to make these The V4's are overall brighter, do not dim and are designed not to flicker with the startup check.

Just got my V4 and I really like them.
My neighbor has an X5 LCI so I could compare with the original.

Halogen vs V4

BTW, the controller is huge...

Lux v4 are so much brighter then the v3! the outer ring also lights up more evenly.

The V4 are on the left and the V3 are on the right I presume from looking directly at the picture. That is a difference. By looking at the direction of the shadow, more light could be hitting the driver side (V3) as well. I would still like to get the V4 for one main reason, I have the ability of running 5000K. With stock HID, you can tell a major difference when your headlights are on. The 6500K looks blue while the HID look white.

Thanks for posting the comparison.

Heh. It's in your mind. Reading the other thread, they're both the new Lux.

Not sure which picture your referring to, but i beleive all of these have the LUX H8 V4 lights in both headlights. Remember... the outer angel eyes are only visible at certain angles and in pictures its always very hard to capture them correctly.

My mistake, I thought that when you said the V4 was brighter than the V3, this was the comparison picture of the V4 and the V3 (V4 passenger side while the V3 was the driver side).

This definitely helped thanks! Mine is Monaco Blue so I think a little bit of Blue in the AE won't be too bad.

DTEC H8 V7?

Does anyone have any experience with the DTEC H8 V7?

see: http://www.e92-lighting.com/products...W-1437-20.html

Forgetting about the 64W 'rating', it claims to generate 2300 lumens which seems almost hard to believe compared to the 800+ from the Lux H8 V4.

Appreciate any insight...thanks.

Those bulbs infringe upon a pending US Patent we have on the lights. As well i would honest be surprised if those put out more then 500 lumen.... the specs and ratings they use are absurd and have absolutely no meaning at all.
