DSC/DTC and manual shifting

it seems whenever i switch DTC on (or everything off) i get less jerkyness when hard shifting into 2nd or 3rd and I was able to put the power down a bit sooner.

is it my illusion or any one else have this experience? I have the CDV delete already.
