E90 Faded "eyelids" anyone else?

Not the best pic I could have taken but the eyelid/eyebrow of my lci xenon headlights have been fading the past year to the point where others are saying something.

Did some searching on forums and the internet with not much success besides fiberglass covers that all look too ricey for me.

Stumbled upon these slick mod vinyl pieces that look like the perfect solution but didnt know if anyone else has used? For $13 it's an easy first try.
Ordered gloss black to match the grills and will post some pics in about a week. (I have no affiliation or connection w/ Slickmods and this is my first time ordering from)

Are they hazing over like the clear part of headlights do? If so, Sylvania makes an awesome headlight restore kit, about $25 at an auto parts store. I used it on my wife's old car and they looked brand new. I have the pre-LCI covers by slickmod on my car and they're very good. Of course mine is to cover up the ugly amber on the sides, so I got the gloss black vinyl, but you could probably use dark or light smoke.

You could also take the lights apart and paint them. Good time to paint the rest and swap in LED halo rings as well...lol

One of mine looked great and the other looked like junk on an E90 LCI I had for a bit. If I had it long enough I would have taken them apart and probably painted them. It looked like it was interior issue in the headlamp.

Growing on me but waiting to see how it looks from a distance at night as I've noticed between hood and light there is light that shows. Easy application and easy to replace if needed.

Note: black dots on bumper love bugs

I like white cars with black accents, so I was struggling to figure out why I didn't like it. Then it finally hit me. It looks like your car is wearing eye liner. It's not that there's anything wrong with that look, just not my taste.

Agreed, wish it had line of black extending to grills
