how to turn crankshaft pulley/engine over by hand?

m57 330d- anyone any idea how to turn the crankshaft pulley by hand, i.e, turn the engine over?

I was expecting to see a large bolt in the middle of the pulley to put a big socket and bar onto but there appears to be just four small E type torx bolts...i dont really want to exert too much force on them? The belt to the power steering pump is still on so i could turn that in order to turn the crank but again i cant see inside it to see what sort of bolt it has (no mirror at home either).

You could buy a special tool http://www.ebay.de/itm/BGS-Kurbelwel...item541adeea5d but there's much less force required to turn the engine over than you would expect. Just take a socket that fits over the 4 torx's
