Baseline dyno on my stock 335i

Decided to do a baseline before upgrading.

http://ztuner.com/335dyno.htm

277whp 285ftlbs TQ

FYI 93 octane, 94 F ambient temps and steptronic trans. Run was done in 4th gear

Enjoy !!!

Quick update - just dynoed with a JB+ at 100 % , same dyno no other mods.
319 whp 344ftlbs TQ

So basically just a JB+ picked up 42 whp and 59 ftlbs. Nice for what i payed for it

Harry

Nice numbers! My stock hp was 258 or so, but torque was right about where your numbers are. What octane are you using?
I will dyno my car this Saturday with the dci and jb3 installed. I will make a few runs. First, at map 3 91 octane (my daily driver mode), then map 3 100 octane and finally map 5 100 octane (which I was running for the past week or so and the car pulled like mad!). May do a few more to experiment (map 2 and then map 7 . . . if I get the nerve).

Great! Only 8% tranny loss.
I assume it is 6MT?

Another observation: seems like there is not much point to go much beyond 6k rpm in aggresive driving.

Concerned with throwing a code at map 7. Plus, the BMS material recommends other mods to run map 7. Just trying to be a little conservative right now, which is hard because of the intoxicating power the higher maps provide.

I run map 7 almost all the time, haven't thrown a code yet.

I'm running version 1.3, but will upgrade when 1.4 is released. I will bump it tomorrow to map 7 on the dyno. I re-read the BMS info. I was wrong about BMS suggesting other mods with map 7. That is with map 8. I will post the results of all pulls in the tune/mod forum. Will be interesting to compare what it pulls on the various maps and octanes with just a dci and in the Arizona heat.

Great Numbers! In-line with my base dyno... I had Dinan Mufflers and K&N drop-in.

With a 15% tranny loss, 277rwhp would be 277/0.85 = 325 crank.

319 would be 319/0.85 = 375 crank.
