GFV on PCP

Hi all,

As I am about take the plunge for 135i 5 door auto, I want to know if GFV is negotiable at all ?

The best figures from a main dealer is as follow,

£1200 deposit and £413 x23, GFV is just under £18k.

before anyone say, I tried pretty much every lease company but couldn't find any less than the above figures though the figures were much better on a manual car.

I know I do sound a bit impatient with these figures but its been 2 years without a decent car so...

Back to my original question, is it possible or has anyone had successful negotiation over GFV, as it does sound a bit too much, so if I go for it I'll be definitely handing the car back after the term as there will be nothing in it for me .

Or I should wait for the right deal but as the face lift is coming out in March/April its highly likely that they will rise in price or that's what I've been led to believe.

Please advice,

Never tried to change the GFV, but I doubt that's changeable. The USP of PCP versus Normal loan is lower monthly repayments, and that's only possible with a big GFV.

If you have made up your mind about changing cars in 2 years and the monthly payments on PCP is lower than lease just go with it.

The only things which change the GFV when purchasing a car are.

Mileage over term
Options
Length of term

I very much doubt you can ask the dealer to change the Gtc once it has been calculated.

Thats a good price from BMW, better or matches the online lease brigade. But the GFV is given as stated above, pretty fixed.

What you should negotiate on is the purchase price. More discount or dealer contribution.

A lower purchase price is the same as a higher GFV.

When buying my 330i and 335i on PCP it was getting the price down that helped, GFV was always fixed.
