Fall-Line Motor sports LSD Install Review (Chicago Burbs)
Well, after asking around for where I could get my Wavetrac LSD install done, Someone on here (ccbad) referred me to http://www.fall-linemotorsports.com/ I dropped my car off there on Monday, and I got it back this afternoon @ 2:30pm. They did the install, as well as replaced my oem radiator. All the work was done professionally, the LSD is in without any noises, or any issues. I got to test out the LSD today in the snow, and had fun doing snow donuts with traction control off! What a night and day difference.
I highly recommend Fall Line for all your work. They have a big facility with well trained techs, numerous full race builds that they are working on. Call Tim Stratton @ 1 847 215 9500 For those doing LSD installs, there is a small list of additional parts you will need. PM me if you need the part numbers.

that's my only concern, Fall-Line is on the very high end and I believe it is 1xx per hour. But I could be wrong

The standard $625 for the LSD install. Same thing Vac, and MachV motorsports quoted me, and they are the two most popular shops in the east coast. Well worth it for a job well done IMHO. Too many horror stories with thump sounds after install, that I didn't want this thing mickey moused.

For cheap work, I go to Richard @ dubwerks in Libertyville. He's a volkswagen/Audi guy, but he's done all my mods, sans LSD. Fall line is the only other shop I've ever gone to besides, dubwerks, and the stealership. I'm very picky about where I take my car, because I track it.

Mind if I ask what you paid grand total for the wavetrac and install combined? I am seriously considering this. Had the car for 9 months and have already destroyed rear pads from Ediff and a set of $800 rear runflats

ahhh you have a pre 09 car dont you? with the bolted ring gear? I have the welded ring gear, I fear this is going to cost me an arm and a leg because of that.

Indeed, I do. It will cost you a ton more because you are welded, but it's well worth the price. It makes such a huge difference! BMW shot us in one leg on purpose, to protect the M3.
