I think a username is apart of your online persona. To change it is like having a sex change. Your no longer the same person as you once were.

People who do not use the forum that much may not realise its you. Thats the risk we take when choosing names like we do, I mean look at mine. If i get 911 it wont be appropriate anymore but of course ill keep it as its what ive had since ive been here!

Wouldn't quite go as far as comparing it to a sex change,

but you make a good point. That's why I never choose names directly associated with the car I'm currently driving.
