Hello Ive Got A 330d Touring And Am Loving The Car Just Want To Do Some Bits And Would Like Some Advice Of Others Experience, Was Looking At The Speed Religion Stage 2 First Then Try To Find An Uprated Intercooler.

Hello, Just placed deposit today on my 2005 55 reg 325i M Sport in Black, its got the Black Full Leather seats and I think the rest is standard.
Its been a long wait for me to get back to BMW, I had a 320i E36 about 8 years ago, and modded it up to look like M3 !! and have tried a few cars since but I had to go back to BMW I missed my Beemer so much. Was going to get E46 but managed to fund the new shape.......
Complete petrol head and perfectionist when it comes to cars !!!!!
Test drive today down M1 was the clincher, what a great drive.
Got loads of questions to ask and can't wait to get the car, can anyone help me out with the following to keep me going
1. do the door handles light up or is this an option?
2. Will it have total closure etc
3. Will the headlights stay on after parking for a period-eg walk home lights
4. How is oil checked I know dipstick is not fitted anymore.
Sorry to be asking these questions but the supplying dealer is not BMW and the salesman was not sure!!!
PS I have seen some cars on here with the grill blacked out- looks great starting to think about mods already !!!! Thanks Paul

After taking advice from you lot i am now the proud owner of a red 320d m sport with black heated leather seats, sun protection glass and bluetooth .After driving Vag diesels for a long time the 320 is in a different league.
Now looking for a black grill,other mods will no doubt follow.

Welcome Tunna!

1. The door handle lights are standard.
2. Don't know what you mean.
3. When you park and remove the key, if you pull back on the left hand stalk and release the lights will remain on for a settable period of time.
4. With iDrive it's one of the menu items. It displays a drawing of the car with the engine level as a vertical bar on the right. The engine must be running and up to operating temperature.

I have to say that when i picked up it up on friday, i was very nervous, but this machine is amazing. drives like a dream and the comfort top.

I paid £22000 with a year tax, mileage 2300. not sure if this is a good price.

Hi, I'm a newbie from East of Scotland.

Its actually my old dear thats trading her E46 330d M-Sport Cabrio in and getting the 320d M-Sport Coupe. I'm just going to be borrowing it on occasion. However, I tend to join an owners club to find out how to solve common faults, scope some cheap uprated bits, group buys, attend meets etc...

Car she's getting in September (if they can prioritise the order?!) is:

.....actually, I think there are more bits and bobs but I dont think I'll bore you with them, its got a reasonable spec list anyway!!
