FS - DTUK CRD-T Diesel Tuning Box

Fully boxed with wiring harness. It is programmed for a E90 LCI 320D (177). It can be reprogrammed by DTUK for other vehicles, but i'm not sure on the cost. I'd suggest any potential buyers to ring them up.

It was bought about a year ago and totally transformed the car, huge power increase. Easily removable.

Retails at £440 but it's on offer at £395 at the moment. The best tuning box as its multichannel. For more info ask or search.

SOLD

Thanks Gents

Surely there's a 320D owner hiding somewhere who wants more power in an easily removeable way. This box stand apart from any other box as it plugs into your common rail (as most do) but also into your turbo boost sensor. So it can amend the air intake along with the fuel

Economy wise, on motorway runs doing 70-75mph i got 60-63 mpg. Power wise - see the DTUK website.

Maybe i need to put some pics up...

whats the difference between the CRD-T and the Spyder? I'm looking for a box, but CBA to get it programmed for my 320D 163. Doesnt this have the switches to program like in the spyder? let me know - i'm interested, but on the fence because of the programming part!

Sorry don't want thread-jack but I have a spare Spyder digital one and it was good on my 535d. Space as I have got eco-tune dpf off kit now. Just in case if someone is interested.

I believe same unit can be programmed by the Spyder and 5 years transferrable warranty. I used it for 2 years and it is spotless and always performed well. Increased MPG and on demand car will pull like train.

I have never heard of the Spyder box so can't really comment on that. However i can tell you that the DTUK CRD-T is a multi channel box which monitors and adjusts the fuel mapping (via the common rail plug) and the turbo pressure (via the turbo boost plug). Nearly all other tuning boxes only adjust the fuelling via the common rail, i am yet to see another box that does both fuel and air, which is obviously better.

The box has 4 different fuelling and boost maps which each have a further 7 fine tuning settings, from -30% to +30%. This is all adjustable via jumper pins.

If you require more information/reviews on this box, have a read of that link i sent you, and also google the box. You will see tons of threads on it

Regarding reprogramming, its not that complicated. If you are genuinely interested then let me know, and i'll see what i can do re the reprogramming.

If you enter your last 7 digits of your chassis number (will be on your doorcard where the tyre pressures are) on this site http://bmwvin.com/ it will give you the power in kW. If its the same as my engine it should say 130kW.
