Costco doesn't sell the BMW-LL01 approved 0w40 though.

O'Reily/Autozone frequently have oil change specials. 5 qts + filter for ~$30. Just pick up a filter for another car or something.

BMW oil is 5w30. Other brands you want to look for the BMW-LL01 approval. Not all 5w30 is the same viscosity.

But if you're changing every 5000mi or so, you probably wont have any problems with any good synthetic.

It really is. You can read up all you want about how to please a woman, you can look at all the diagrams in the world, but just like the clitoris, you won't know what the hell an apex is before you actually find it.

I have it changed every 7500 miles and still use LL-01 from Walmart Mobil-1 0W-40...cheapest in store...but I always have to check 3 to 4 stores or stock up...

autozone pepboys oriley have the same grade for $2 more regular price...check their webs for monthly special

should use mobil1 only if it's 0w40 because it is proper full synthetic euro formula.

Greetings,

After a three year lease with a Porsche, and paying $300 for oil changes, I found Walmart to be my best friend. Porsche recommends 0 - 30W. I could not find it at Costco, but Walmart sold a 5 gallon container for $25.
