Modding as you know is a very individual thing. The ADV's are IMO opinion a nice choice best results are achieved I think by carefully choosing the right positions one I'd of questioned which thankfully the others have informed you about are those orange tow hook things, looks like your hoping to break down so that they can be used.... only place for them at the moment is on poor old Marcus Ericson's Catherham
Love to see a pic of the car on the ADV's though....keep it up |

These ADV's are really got me thinking now, please pop a pic or 2 up once fitted so I can take a closer look, I'm looking at a similar wheel(though from what i can see my choice is 3 times the price) they seem to be fairly rare I even a set it two on flee bay (I understand ADV's can be had for well under £600 as a staggered set of 19's with ease) quality etc is the key but wheels these days seem to be getting better VFM.

OrAnGegod you're gonna get some stick no no no lose the orange that's only suitable for things growing in trees and drinks. Look carefully at the car colour consider the usual greys(orvtry a colour combo of mixing a grey say with another darker colour to create a one off)or how about experimenting with a darkish bronze

I really want to see these wheels fitted. Makes a change to the normal wheels you see on the E90, especially over here. Never been a huge fan of the CSL stick on spoiler but i guess its a hell of alot cheaper than the real thing!
Would also agree with getting some cleaning gear on her, remove the jdm bits for now until its looking a bit more of a track car if thats the look your going for. On a relatively standard looking car it looks completely wrong especially standard wheels and height. Sort out the lights, tint is making them look dirty. Get her dropped on springs, coilovers or a spring/damper combo. Most mods on a car with standard ride height just looks silly. I think you motor could look really nice with a bit more tlc and taking a slightly different path to the jdm style your going for. |

Bronze wheels are pretty nice, had a set on one of my old Imprezas... they work even better on black too!!
However, a friend had an E90 in black, lowered quite a bit with bright silver wheels.... and it looked great!! Cheers, Grant

Oh, I don't know about that, foey. That orange pretty much killed the beauty of the car.

You have to love BMW forums, the whole point of modding a car is to make it look unique but not only do you get the negative police throwing in there 2 pence of unhelpfulness, you also get the you should mod your car to look like every other modded BMW comments. Lmao.
you've definitely gone jap on it but it's different and for that I give you a thumbs up. |
