Intake ques
So I just finally ordered my Vishnu chip. I was debating on getting there dual cone intake package, but I also was looking into the ultimate racing intake I dont know which one I should get. People have told me that the cone for the ultimate racing is small and that the vishnu set is better, but by the looks of it i would imagine that I would suck in so much more hotter air. Any suggestions on which route I should go down?

Stick to stock... But If I were to get an Intake I'd either get the Vishnu or Injen intake... Running stage 1 on the vishnu with an intake won't net you much, unless you also throw in FMIC, catless exhaust, etc.. Unless you want that 'cool' factor, stick to the stock intake (maybe invest in a replacement drop-in from K&N or one of the other various manufacturers)

I would say get a FMIC before anything else.
It's been shown that, even with the increased efficiency of the FMIC, the STETT CAI posted lower IAT's than the DCI. It is assumed that with the inefficient stock IC, the difference would be greater. So, yes, there is proof out there that the CAI is quantifiably better, without restricting the flow of air to a point where it makes any negative difference. |

Intake hot air is not an issue - these are intercooled cars so 95% of the cooling happens at the IC plus at high speeds there is plenty of air going through the front end. I forget the maths, but the car sucks something rediculous like 10m2 of air per second at 6,500rpm.

S4killer since you started modding rather go for mods that you can feel vast gains. With the Vishni you can up the power by quite a bit with supporting mods. Get those supporting mods first i.e. intercooler and downpipes.
