So after doing a whole lot of Diesel Tuning reading today I have decided to step it up and really take the D to new heights

I ran a quick thread on the classifieds on the off chance looking for a Wagner FMIC as they're rare as rocking horse, but to my surprise one came up for sale, virtually brand new for a great price so I've snapped that up.

As some of you know Sumil is parting out and sold off most bits of his whip. I am really chuffed to be the owner of this CF Seibon Bootlid which will be on by next week hopefully.

Not keeping any secrets so all updates will be posted as and when they happen REALLY cannot wait to get more power down as I've been running my 335D stock for over 2 years!

Aim will be to eventually have something like this to give me 430bhp+ and 750 - 800NM. I know the gearbox is only able to handle a certain amount but many have done it so I'm going to try getting into those figures - not overnight but bit by bit.

Plan will be choosing some of the following:
- Wagner IC - Check
- Wagner Twin Turbo DP (Catless)
- Straight Pipe from DP
- External Wastegate
- Bigger HPFP
- Custom Remap
- DPF delete
- EGR coded out or delete and possibly;
- Meth

Very expensive list but as said not all need to be done unless I hit the jackpot lol!

Next stop Seibon Bootlid to be painted in Titanium Silver with a special something on the top part of the lip, so stay tuned

Awesome plan (not being funny) but you won't get near 430 without a hybrid turbo, ecotune sell them and cars with dpf delete Egr off wagner IC and hybrid turbo are making around 425 bhp, with your mods and hybrid turbo I reckon you'll see max 440 ar very most.

I got friendly with Stan and looked at quite few dynos over the years. My car made 373 /570 lb ft with Egr off, dpf delete and remap best power a car made is just over 380 same as mine.

Pretty sure you can't run an external wastegate well you could but not point.

Liking the plans, about time someone stepped up the D tuning.

As ajs has said, you'll see around 400 with that set up and silly torque figures, any more would require a hybrid conversion on the turbos, speak to Darkside about what they could do, big in the VAG tuning scene and have worked on a e46 330d which runs 400+ bhp.

That's totally cool man and no you're right. I'll take it step by step and see how everything goes but I am slowing my modding right down now I say that but I've just paid for the CIC retrofit from Jammy

Marriage next year so after doing my CIC retrofit (which I thought I'd never do), at that price it is hard to turn down.

Will keep all that in mind sunshine thank you. An impromptu purchase of CIC retrofit means now I'm going to stop modding for a good number of months to concentrate on wedding expenses.

I'll still be lurking but I've spent so much on this car I can't even begin to explain... but I love the car and how it's turned out haha.

Get all the modding done before you get married and you have a joint bank account!! Then she'll see what you really spend!!

Trust me it really put a dent in my plans when i got married!!

Well, luckily my Mrs is happy for to mod till I'm bored -she's very supportive of these things as she feels personal interests is what makes everybody so unique.. Gotta love her really!

Right then...off I embark on my 1.5hr journey to Jammy today for the CIC retrofit. Also taking along my Dension AVR unit in case Jammy can help me figure it out

CIC retrofit done today - massive thanks to Jammy78 on here - really helpful guy! Absolutely LOVING the new setup and I never thought I'd fall for it but here I am lol. My older CCC was the earliest version I believe or one of the earliest and it now makes me realise just how dated the idrive was.

Completed transformed the car!!

So guys with the CIC done.. I'm going to attempt to paint my own centre trim. I've never done any of the paint work before so my first go but hey let's see what happens.

Next stop ..

1. Black roof headliner this coming weekend. I've been contemplating for ages so I left funds with jammy when I had my CIC done - no going back LOL. Will get that on this weekend and get rid of the fugly grey one I have.

2. CF Seibon Bootlid this coming weekend again. Swapped my Black M Sport Interior + Cash to Sumil for his Bootlid. Going to give it a special makeover by the one and only Dips @ Custom Cars.

3. Wagner FMIC - Recently purchased so going to get that on sometime this week or next week. Need to buy the Downpipe DPF delete too and then get a custom remap done.

FMIC just arrived through the post. I've also managed to locate a DPF Delete Downpipe for a good price so may get that soon.

So I can understand better, why do FMIC and remap first?

Do you guys recommend BW Chiptune, he's the closest and most well renowned within 40mile radius of me.
