Removing EGR vacuum pipe

Hi guys,

I'm wanting to remove and clean my EGR valve but the thing holding me up is the vacuum pipe. I cannot for the life of me remove it. It's stuck on there hard. Any tips?

I considered doing that as the part of the tube that is on the knuckle appears really brittle.

I had to cut mine, tried boiling water, WD40 etc etc, nothing would shift it.

Get some silicone vaccum hose and replace the whole thing - Mine is leaking somewhere and now I'll have to remove the inlet manifold again to replace it
