M3 type rear boot spoiler for E90

I am going to buy an M3 type boot spoiler for my E90 and have it painted in Crimson Red. Is there any recommendations on where to get it from at a decent price. There appears to be a few Taiwan or foreign dealers selling them for about £80 or so, has anyone used any of them.

Buying from the UK will save any hassle with customs charges etc but the prices might be extortionate !

I'd recommend getting it from Teddy, SSDD:

http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/

Proper service from him, unlike ebay.

Unhappy e90 boot spoiler

Hi
I've just joined and am located in Northumberland also. You've confused me as you list your motor as an E90 118. I thought the E90 was only the 3 series!
Anyway, I,ve just bought a boot spoiler for my 320d M Sport edition and it's in the paint shop at the minute - should get it back Friday. I intend to fit myself but am a bit nervous. It's been recommended I use a pu adhesive such as Sikkaflex along with the tape fitted to the spoiler - any feedback or opinions would be much appreciated.
I bought the spoiler from a uk supplier off ebay. Genuine brand new BMW part, came primed and ready to top coat. Cost £55 plus 8.99 p&p. Ebay link is "mteck57"
(pch bmw parts shop). He had more than one as he re-listed but don't know if any left. Worth checking his shop though.

Sounds a bit complex for me! i just used the sticky adhesive that came with the spoiler (BMW Part) and its super sticky and barely any gap visible when its on.

Maybe read the part no. off the bottom and ring up your BMW parts dept and ask for the corresponding tape to stick it on? Not sure what exactly the e90 one looks like but with the 92 spoiler the tape is precut for the spoiler so u wont need to cut any shapes to fit the corners. by all means stick to the Sikkaflex and PU if you feel more comfortable with it!

You really dont need sikkaflex as the 3m tape is well sufficent enough to bond it to the car.

nice dry day...take ya time and BINGO ..easy.

Thanks for the feedback. BMW part no is 51710396344 which if typed into google images will show pics. The spoiler is pre fitted with tape and I've got a roll of 1mm thick body tape if I need extra but I think I'll use adhesive in the centre as well (belt & braces). The thought of the resulting mess if it comes of gives me nightmares!
I'm thinking of changing the rear lights to blackline as I hated the white lines on my previous jet black 318se and they look even worse to me on this one which is carbon black.
As an alternative, has anyone had experience of the smoked spray tints you can get on ebay?

oh -we are talking about two different spoilers. the one you have is not the m3 type rear spoiler - it is the non-m3 spoiler for the e90/e92...

phew - i thought I spent too much on my spoiler

There is another on ebay from a uk source which is a thinner type which sits on top of the boot. I think it's the same as the 1 piece M3 type but could be wrong. It isn't genuine BMW but made from PU and looks good. I corresponded with the guy but decided I wanted the "chunkier" spoiler. I was impressed by his responses and the spoiler is actually cheaper than mine at £49 plus £10 p&p (unpainted).
ebay link is On-Line Auto Sport Ltd - Has a website as well.
In reply to the other question, mine is being painted at a shop in Anlwick. The manager is a mate so don't know what the cost will be but I was quoted elsewhere at £50 which I thought wasn't bad
