Thank god, a damn sales man. All you morons, sayin, "Ah, well I hope it doesn't cost more than 10,000 dollars, because thats all I have" are dumb. We are the consumers, we want EPL to barely turn a profit overall. By giving them an exact upper figure, they will be able to shoot for it, or go above that a little bit. PITCH LOW!

When I sell things, I ask much more than what I really want or need. When the customer asks for a better deal, I tell them they are just in luck because today is a f*cking promotion day, whaddaya know!?!

EDIT: Also, I'm not sure what your results were on ur stg 3+ but stg 3 is usually around 380ish? + 60hp(was this at peak?) = 440. With race gas? 470? Better than I was expecting. Still a far cry from 540. This means the upgrade can't cost much more than 1500 dollars in my book assuming RB turbos are 3k. If the gains are better than this, well god damn thats really good and sounds already like a wonderful option for those who aren't trying to spend several thousand.

I'm totally with a good company with a solid product making a decent profit because (1) they've earned it and (2) it makes it more likely they'll stay in business pumping out more cool stuff.

What I'm not with is the 'BMW tax' and the attitude of shaking people down for every loose nickel.

Let's just hope that Tial gets their pricing in the 'sweet spot' where they get a reasonable net margin and a lot of orders. Too low and it won't make sense for them to sell it; too high and they won't get enough orders.

A procede is just over $1k and yields at least 75 WHP. That probably gives some price guidance, but I don't know what their labor and parts cost.

I'm definitely all for a company making money, but as a consumer, we need to make sure we get the best deal. There becomes a point of diminishing returns and if you are upgrading turbos, with these cars thats where that point is most likely to begin. 1000 dollars for 75 whp may be true, but if we want to start the dollar for dollar argument bla bla we can only assume that someone upgrading turbos will have done their tune already considering the upgraded turbos are near worthless without a tune. But yes it is a good baseline. People are in fact willing to pay for that, however we are getting much more with a procede than 75 hp. Flexibility, custom features etc. Turbo upgrades will be a static cost and won't provide much more than the added efficiency.

LOL you guys are ridiculous talking about price, this forum gives me a good laugh every day.

with these turbos, the power towards redline is just INSANE. Numbers are one thing, but actually driving it... WOW. especially on pump gas, i can't imagine race gas or meth...

give them a break... you guys spend good grand or so on exhaust, ic, dp or what have you... let them come up with their pricing first and then criticize after... they don't even have pricing info yet and the fact that you guys got all wet and talking about what's too much and what's not right now is just funny...

with that being said, i can't wait for the official end result with pricing from tial and EPL

i would like to know that as well. if you run more boost, of course you will see bigger numbers although my assumption with upgraded turbo should increase the reliability department. mainly want to see the dyno comparison at same boost and so that we can see how the tial turbo works as compare to oem at same boost range and rpm...

only one way to find out right? the billet wheel is made for higher boost, we'll be putting the stock shaft to the test though! time will tell.

in terms of engine reliability everything looked great, nice smooth timing curves etc, no knock/timing pullouts.

glad your enjoying it! Thats the one thing I didnt care for w the n54, the top end fall off.

you guys talking about price are ridiculous, your just blurting out numbers with 0 facts or data to go off of. IMO all the numbers you have put out are too low, but again i'm guessing just like you are.

people are just excited about it that's all. there's only so many times you can say "oh wow, this is awesome!" before moving on to price, performance, reliability, etc..
