2017 Lexus LC500 (pictures)
5L V8 467 HP/389 ft-lb torque with 10 speed automatic and paddle shifters 0-60 in 4.5 seconds "Just under $100,000" Disappointing numbers for that price point, but it's a sexy looking car I'm not gonna lie. Not bad.... That "design language" is much better suited on a Sports Coupe like this than the Sedans they make! 500hp & 450ft/lbs twist would've been "Perfection" as they like to say....

Saw the concept in LA a couple of years ago. Looks really good. I always wished this was the body they used for the LFA.
What exactly are they targeting with this car.. 6 series?

Looks like crap to me. Mostly the side profile. The front end, well, that's unmistakably Lexus. The rear looks nice until I'm reminded that it looks very similar to the new Infiniti coupe's rear design, except it looks like the tail lights are crying here on the Lexus.

Why do they keep recycling the same V8? Do they not have any other powerplants in development? They need a new twin turbo V8 to compete these days. It looks heavy, can't imagine what it weighs knowing how heavy the smaller RCF is.

Yeah I would assume they're targeting the 650. Prices are similar. Specs are similar. Both cars are more like sporty touring coupes as opposed to track machines, but that is a niche that definitely has an audience. I know plenty of old rich people who live for cars like this.

am i the only one that hates that auto manufactures are moving towards fake exhaust tips? i mean, a lot are doing it now (c450 amg) but lexus is the worst offender imo.
other than that, i think the car does look pretty good. the most famous offender:
