Just ordered wheels now I need to solve the TPMS problem. I have a 2007 E92 xi. Couple questions: will TPMS sensors taken from a 2009 335i work on a 2007 328xi? Next, could I remove the sensors from my stock 17s and have them mounted in my new 19" wheels, and if so, what should I expect to pay?

While I'm here, perhaps I can kill 2 birds with one stone. I'm researching tires and I could use some assistance. The wheels I ordered are 8.5"x19"--9.5"x19" M6 replicas. If my concerns are durability, maintaining a stock look, and possibly some protection against curb rash, which size tire would be best for that setup? Perhaps some input toward the pros and cons of a 275-30-19 vs. a 265-30-19 would best help me, since I think my decision will ultimately come down to these two. I'm under the impression that the front wheels pretty much require a 235-35-19 but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

07 and 09 3-Series should be sharing the same 433MHz TPMS so you should be fine.

As far as tires go, what are the offsets of your wheels?

I was quoted from Americas Tire Co that it would be $8 per wheel if you were to take out the TPMS from the old wheel and put it in to the new one. That is the best price I've gotten thus far.

it usually cost about $20-$25 to dismount/mount 18"+ tires... you'll have to dismount your stock tires, take off your tpms and remount your stock tires... put the tpms to your new wheels and mount the new tires...
