I've been told that before... can someone explain this to me? I'm not saying I doubt it -- I just want a reasonable explanation so it makes sense in my head...
I thought all the power goes to the wheel with less resistance/traction...

at first one wheel will spin, and after a second or two the other will follow
LSD can launch with both wheels basically, while we can with one |

I understand that even with the open diff both wheels spin. I was just curious to which wheel was the power wheel.

id assume if you did a launch without the linelock (not a burnout) you would see one tire mark and that would be the "power wheel"
unless it were to differ each time? and I cant imagine the dealer liking this too much, BMW dealers have this weird thing about drag racing andrew, can you post like a DIY install? im sure alot of people (including me) are very curious how and how long this install is also, if you could point out the differences with the extra options you offer with the kit |

burnouts without linelocks are a bad idea. I have cracked a rear rotor before using the break and accellerator method, too much heat in the back and the rotor cracked, got a linelock and things were all good, this was on a C5 Corvette.
