I love this board which I can share my own experience to others so that they can have he same experience and deal. Although saving over $300 not a lot but good enough to get another small mod . I was shock that when I saw a matt black X6 in Germany 2 weeks ago who also wrap the trims with this fabric. Here is the link of the pics that I took:http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201371 Enjoy! |

ok some installed shots,
and a gratuitous exterior in the freezing snow shot Granted its not a jaw dropping total pimp my ride transformation but it looks a lot better and gives a nice transition from black to grey, I'm now doing the inside door handles and will have some pictures of those when finished, they should come out like this, Only on a grey door (these are just pics for reference, Not mine)

That looks a hellovalot better than I thought it would when I first saw the thread title. Nice Job! Do you spray over the fabric when it's done with some kind of sealant? Wonder what spray on polyurethane would look like...

I used one big piece and connected the 2 parts, Glued them both and layed the one carbon fabric over them both then cut down the middle where they meet and viola,
