Video evidence of why LSD rock
I wish I could do this with the 335...
I think the rear diff can be swapped out for the quaife, not sure about the front. If I remember right, our transfer case isn't geared (a-la center diff), but uses friction... which I bet would wear out. Correct me if I'm wrong. AWD + massive power = awesomeness. http://video.kenblockracing.com/flas...FFF&autoplay=0 -scheherazade |

I don't know why you would want to change out the diff in an AWD car.
Doesn't make sense to me.

It's definitely a good target for tuners though. I hope things like this will be an option for us in the next year or two. Quote:

BTW, up until this video was reposted 30,000 times on every car forum on the net I really had no idea that you could even drift an AWD car like that. I remember seeing a few years back an orange STI drift car that had a RWD conversion on it so I always assumed that it wasn't possible to really drift an AWD car, but I guess with over 500whp you can. I'm an AWD noob.

Basically every time I drove home at 2am (and no one in sight) I'd drift pretty much every turn I felt safe on (all the ones with grass/gravel on the shoulder instead of curb/trees). Although I'm glad I got the 335. 1) My gf likes it a lot more. (happy gf = happy self) 2) Easier to make a nice car fast, then a fast car nice. 3) Evo is helluva loud inside. After a 30 minute drive talking with someone, I'd get out and my throat would be a little sore from having to speak up. 4) LAG. rolling start from 5 mph or so, I could pretty much count to 4 or 5 before it pulled hard. That car required tons of clutch control to keep the power on at low speeds. -scheherazade |

I had 05 STi and you could control the Diff Bias with a switch. You could do 65% rear/ 35% front. 50/50 lock both diffs etc.
