New Wheels - VOLK's!!!!!!

Well, I finally made the decision and bit the bullet. Picked up these bad boys today. After allot of research and looking at too much wheel porn, these babies seemed to be the right balance of quality, performance and looks for me and my e90. Forged, limited production edition Prog ME's.

Some crude pics taken today. Will post up proper pics in the springtime once the weather warms up and I can put these babies on the car.

19 x 8.5 +35
19 x 9.5 +30

While at it, I also got a wicked deal on KW v2's and Stoptech BBK so they will be on the car come spring as well........

Will also be posting up my OEM staggered 189's for sale shortly. Still on the original run flat rubber but the backs need new treads.

Thanks. It really came down to either BBS or Volk. I would have been happy either way. Had them both side by side and felt the Volks would be better given how few of them are on the road compared to BBS.

Good choice on wheels. Would have been nice to get better specs though. Get some spacers before the install

Thanks. Are you referring to the offset or width? I can change the specs as there are two other sets with slightly different set up. Curious what set up you would go with?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure he's referring to width and offset. If it were me
Front: 19x9.5 +20
Rear: 19x11 +25 or 19x10.5 +20

Interesting. I had actually spent some time on the spec I wanted. I have seen these wheels on a car with my set up and for me I much preferred the set up I chose. Personally, I found the more aggressive stance a little to much for me.

I guess that is the beauty of having different tastes. Will definitely post pics when done. The beauty is if i want a more aggressive stance i could always add spacers. I run them now on my staggered OEM 18's and love the stance. Use 12mm on the front and 15mm on the back.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Always appreciated.

Well if it was me I would do 10" front et 17 and 11.5" rear et 28. Or even better 12" like I recently got. And I like a minor stretch so 245/35 front and 285/30 rear seems about right

You got it. I try and bring people to the darkside on here. Well said though that's why modding is so much fun and interesting seeing all the different styles and taste. I love it. Very well said my friend and you have great choice in wheels.

Nice wheels those are one of my favorite volk wheels, that have very simple and clean lines. What do these wheels weigh? Post some pics of them on your car when you get them on.

Thanks Ivan,

Have been looking for something like this for a while. Couldn't be happier and can't wait to get some rubber on these babies. Now trying to decide what the best rubber set up would be and from who!

Those are some light wheels for their respected size. What kind of tires you going to throw on them?
