I got my hands on some Adam's In & Out, along with Sonax Net Shield a few months ago and really wanted to put the products through its paces before writing a review. Too often, a product is used once, a review is written, and your perception of that product changes over time. I've had a proper three months now to see how I like both of these.

Let's start with Adam's In & Out. If you've ever detailed an Audi R8, you know but all too well that those rear plastic pieces can be a proper nightmare if they're in bad shape. Unfortunately, I detailed my friend's R8 before I had In & Out. It really would have come in handy. I was skeptical when I used it first. It comes in a can, which means you'll be spraying it. Spraying it and detailing don't always go hand in hand, as it often means "sh*t going all over the place." So I used it on my X5 first. On the rear, there is a piece of plastic that the previous owner neglected, and the caked on wax or whatever product was used, left it stained. I cannot take it out easily, but I still wanted it to look nice. Applying a product by hand was out of the question, as it's not smooth and not easily accessible. Enter In & Out: I simple sprayed the product from a few inches away, evenly sprayed the product from left to write twice, and I was done. Dries quickly, leaves an OEM finish. Just be sure to wipe off the area around it. I didn't, and when dirt accumulates on In & Out, you can see it. When I used it the second time around, I made sure to wipe it off the paint: zero issues. After 4 washes, the product is still on the plastic. Impressive.

Second was Net Shield. I'm a fan of waxes, and since I only take care of my own vehicles, don't mind waxing them on a monthly basis. However, others don't have that luxury. So I gave Net Shield a try to see what the fuss was about. Application is simple: I took my standard Uber foam applicator, sprayed Net Shield on it, evenly applied it to a 2x2 area on the paint, counted to 45 and wiped it off. Here is the part you need to be aware of: application is not going to be as smooth as applying your favorite wax. Same goes for removal. It's tougher to remove than your favorite wax, just a fact. It's also not going to be as slick as products such as Power Lock. But man, does it last. And does it look great. If you put it on uniformly, and make sure all the product is removed after the 45 second drying time, it's a wonderful. I know I've only had three months to try it out, but I applied it to our black '01 Explorer. It's outside 24x7 in the baking sun, and no product has ever lasted on the paint. This has.

Another convert here! My friend used it on his E90 M3, posted pics on his facebook and I was really impressed, so I ended up getting some. Incredible! I was also wondering about the hype until I tried it myself and now I'm a believer.

You're completely on point about application and feel. It's "grippy" feeling when you apply it, though removal wasn't bad for me as some have said. Doesn't have the slick feeling as with most LSPs but hey, it works and looks great!

I definitely needed an microfiber with a short nap to remove it. When using an MF like that, removal is a breeze. I actually washed the vehicle I applied the Net Shield to yesterday. The bonnet along with the front fenders have Net Shield. The rest of the vehicle has Power Lock. You could tell parts covered with Net Shield were still beading like they were day one, whilst the parts covered with Power Lock were already in need for another application. That is after three months, and this car sits outside in the Texas sun 24/7.

Nice! Just know it will take a little extra time vs. waxing or sealing.

Yeah I read that. Did you always use it in 2x2' areas or did you do a whole panel and then wipe it off?

I definitely started in 2x2 area, but as I got cockier, I'd divide a bonnet in 6 pieces for example.
